I've always loved music and wanted to create some of my own. I never took proper piano lessons as a child, but I can play simple pieces with a bit of practice. I played the flute in high school, which is a delightful instrument (and also ensured that I always sat next to the prettiest girls) but did not keep it up afterwards. Recently I purchased a Maui wavetable sound card which came with a MIDI keyboard and some sequencing software. Using MIDIsoft's Music Studio 3.0, I have managed to mung together a couple of sequences that certain people have compared to elevator music
